Harwell went in to this cup game on the back of a dissapointing result in the leage and with a number of players mising through injury. Harwell lined up with four fist team debutants. The game started in heat more of a mid july saturday rather than end of september and both teams struggled to settle but Harwell clearly carried the more threat. However Harwell went behind when following a soft free kick award on the edge of the area Simon Matthews in the Harwell goal failed to judge the flight of the free kcik and the ball ended up in the net. Harwell pressed for the equaliser and following a corner Mike P struck a shot which Liam Corrigan nudged home for a debut goal. Harwell continued to press until half time. In the second half Harwell pressed from the off and goals from Mike P (also a debut goal), Two for Dan Osbourne ( The first with his first touches) and one from Paul Hessey wrapped the game up for Harwell and sealed there progress
