In League Division 1, Harwell Village stretched their lead at the top to 4 points with a 2 – 0 win at Marcham. In an excellent match played in good spirits by players of both sides, Marcham were under the cosh for lengthy periods, with Harwell creating several chances, but the front two of Barney and JR not finding a way through. inevitably Harwell finally scored through Lewis Maciak in the 76th minute. A well taken corner from Matty Aplin seemingly going in was bundled in by the former Inter man. Instead of chasing the game Marcham sat deeper in their own half and in the 81st minute Alan Bertrum unleashed a long range effort into the bottom corner with keeper Simon Key left with no chance.
